For a busy person, joining a gym can be the perfect solution to working out. You have to be choosy though, and make sure the gym is right for you. Some gyms are nothing more than elaborate "fashion parades" and a fat or overweight person may not feel comfortable there. Choose a gym with members you can feel comfortable with.
If you are asking the question: "how can I lose fat?" working out in a gym can help a lot. Make sure you keep the following in mind.
At a gym you will also get very good working out tips
1. Make sure you ask all the question you have on your mind:
Managers and consultants at the gym expect you to do that when you visit the gym. When you ask questions it gives them an opportunity to tell you about their facilities. Don’t be afraid to ask what you want to know.
2. Available facilities:
As a busy person you do not have time to go home and change into workout clothing before going to the gym. The gym needs to have adequate changing rooms and showering facilities. You have to be able to shower and freshen up at the gym before going home or back to work. A sauna and Jacuzzi can make you feel like you are getting a little bonus spa time. Once again though, if you are not going to make use of it, you are paying more than you have to.
3. The condition of the machines:
Take the time to have a look around. Pay attention to the condition of the machines. If the machines are in poor condition or you see a lot of “out of order” signs, do not waste your time with this gym. Equipment needs to be maintained at all times. Equipment that is not maintained is an accident waiting to happen.
4. The available equipment:

Have a look at the kind of equipment they have. It is normal for gyms to have a wide variety of free weighs, aerobic machines, and resistance training equipment. You should not have to wait five minutes or more to use a particular machine, if it is the case, the facility is probably too small for its population.
5. Make sure of the price:
One big problem with gyms is there cost. Make sure you are not paying a price for amenities you will not make use of. If you have no intention of visiting the smoothie bar then paying for it is a waste of my money. Ask for the most basic membership they have. If you feel it is a bit pricy, keep shopping. You must do your homework or you will end up paying a lot more than you have to.
6. Times of the classes offered:
If you would like to join classes, have a look at their schedule. They can be spinning, yoga, kickboxing, or aerobic classes. Have a look at the times the classes are offered and make sure it will be convenient for you to attend them. For the money being spent, it’s important to know that you are getting exactly what you need and want.
Working out in a gym is nice, but if you cannot afford it, there are many fun alternatives. Think of your daily life and what you enjoy doing and try and incorporate some healthy exercise in it. Go running, ride a bicycle make your chores into exercise by doing them vigorously etc. Most important, have fun. If you do not enjoy the exercise you do, you will not keep it up.
Always keep in mind that for real success you have to follow a sensible diet as well as doing moderate exercise.
